The most interesting small-business stories on the Sunshine Coast are not always on the obvious strips. They cluster in side streets, light-industrial pockets and refurbished arcades that long-time locals know well and newcomers tend to discover by accident.

Part of our launch project is to map these places properly. Not as a list of cute shops, but as a working portrait of how independent businesses survive here: the rents they pay, the foot traffic they rely on, and the relationships that keep them open through quieter months.
