Jason Crowther's Atlas Events Marks Record Sunshine Coast Marathon As Robinson And McKenzie Win

Atlas Events founder and managing director Jason Crowther has marked another major Sunshine Coast Marathon weekend, with the 2026 festival drawing a record field and delivering clear elite winners on the Alexandra Headland and Mooloolaba course. Sunshine Coast Council's official community channel reported on August 4 that more than 16,500 runners took part across the festival as it celebrated 15 years. Official timing results listed Brett Robinson as the men's marathon winner in 2:15:45 and Beth McKenzie as the women's winner in 2:37:26.
